Cottage Information
Tangaer Holiday Cottage is a 5 star luxury self-catering holiday cottage, near Lampeter, West Wales. The cottage is owned and run by Iona and Geraint, who have been welcoming guests to the cottage for over 20 years. Formally a barn, the cottage has been renovated to a very high standard and furnished beautifully. Situated on a farmstead the cottage is surrounded by beautiful views of the Cambrian Mountains.
Iona and Geraint pride themselves in ensuring the accommodation is clean and tidy, with little extras such as a welcome pack provided on arrival. The cottage sleeps up to 5 people, plus there's room for a cot (bedding not supplied). Highchair and stair gate available on request (no charge). Pet friendly accommodation, with up to 2 dogs permitted per booking. Equipped with free Wifi, TV, dvds, books, games console, board games, hifi and docking station, plenty to keep the most active of minds entertained.
Lounge
Within the lounge there are two comfy leather settees and a chair, stone fireplace with woodburning stove, wide screen tv with freeview and digibox, dvd player, hifi, ipod docking station, wii games console with games. A selection of dvds, cds, books, magazines, jigsaws and games supplied for your amusement. There are numerous tourist information leaflets, ordnance survey maps for your perusal and a pair of binoculars.
Kitchen
The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with built in cooker and ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, wooden dining table & chairs, a full range of cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and cooking utensils.
Utility / Downstairs Toilet
There is a spacious utility room with drying facilities, washer/dryer, deep freeze and separate toilet. Plenty of room to dry clothes and boots if required.
Bedrooms
There is a king-size four poster bed in the master bedroom and a balcony with breath-taking views of the countryside. Two further bedrooms, one twin-bedded room and one single bedded room with pull out bed underneath if required (ideal for child/teenager). All bedding, fluffy towels and hairdryers supplied.
Bathroom
For relaxation there is a double-ended jacuzzi bath with shower over (adult bathrobes supplied).
Outside Area
Outside there is a decked patio (great suntrap) with garden furniture and gas barbecue (gas supplied), an enclosed lawned garden with fire pit, swing, slide and sandpit to keep children amused. A shed is available to store possessions such as bikes, fishing rods, and trailers if required. Lovely walks from the doorstep. There's a pleasant walk to an old Roman Hillfort on the farm.
